- 2-3 ripe banana peels (from organic bananas, thoroughly washed)

- 1 cup white vinegar

- 1 cup water

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 teaspoon salt

- Optional: spices such as whole cloves, cinnamon sticks, or peppercorns for flavoring


Instructions:

1. Start by preparing the banana peels. Thoroughly wash the peels to remove any dirt or residue, then trim off any brown spots or blemishes. Cut the peels into small, bite-sized pieces.


2. In a small saucepan, combine the white vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and any optional spices you'd like to use. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar and salt are fully dissolved.


3. Add the banana peel pieces to the saucepan, ensuring they are fully submerged in the vinegar mixture. If needed, use a spoon or spatula to press down on the peels to ensure they are covered by the liquid.
